Tran Thi Le Quynh

Please tell us about your role in the Bac Giang Factory.

In my role as a Supervisor of the first sewing line, I am responsible for adjusting staff allocation, improving productivity, and reducing the rate of deficiencies. I also serve as a bridge between managers and the factory floor, relaying instructions and reporting on on-site conditions. By connecting the voices of both sides, I can sense a much smoother workflow within the team. I feel the weight of my responsibility, but I also find it rewarding.
In my daily work, it is important to appropriately manage staff allocation according to the production schedule, striking a balance to ensure that the entire line functions well. Maintaining high quality while meeting delivery deadlines is not easy, and I often feel the challenges involved.
But I am very happy when we work together as a team to achieve our productivity and quality goals, and this motivates me for the next challenge.

At work or in the company, what would you like to challenge and achieve in the future?

Going forward, I would like to achieve an even higher level of balance between high quality and delivery deadlines by more accurately adjusting our production schedules.
To achieve this, I want to instruct and train each staff member to handle multiple processes and strike a balance across the entire line. My goal is to reduce wasted time and create a production line that can manufacture products more efficiently.

What are your challenges outside of work? What do you like to do? Any hobbies?

In addition to increasing my sewing knowledge, I want to continue learning in order to deepen my skills as a Line Supervisor, including improvement of production efficiency and staff management. By taking care of my health, I want to carry out a higher level of performance in my work.
In the future, I would like to visit the Head Office in Japan to learn more about the factory floor and processing technologies used there. If I ever get the chance to go to Japan, I would also love to try wearing a “kimono.”
On my days off, I enjoy spending time with my children at the beach or cooking. Time with my family is a precious daily ritual that helps me to refresh myself.

Please tell us what MATSUOKA means to you.

MATSUOKA feels like a second family to me. It’s not just that the working environment is great, but we have a culture where colleagues naturally reach out to help each other, and I am often supported by that kindness.
Many of my colleagues are enthusiastic and kind, and the ability to help and support each other as we work motivates all of us and that is what makes this company so appealing. I feel that I am growing as a member of this team in this environment.

Comparing before and after you joined the company, what has changed?

Before joining the company, I lacked confidence in how to interact with others, how to proceed with work, and how to communicate efficiently. I recognized that these were challenges I needed to improve.
Since joining the company, I have developed my management skills and expertise gradually by actively learning from my managers and colleagues. This has changed my attitude towards work, and I now feel that I can work with a greater sense of responsibility than before.
My income has also stabilized, allowing me to work with a greater sense of peace of mind in my daily life. I would like to continue to improve various skill sets and contribute to the team and the company.
