JDT VIETNAM CO., LTD (JDT Vietnam) is a textile company whose parent company is JIAXING DEYONG TEXTILES CO., LTD. (JDT China). Like JDT China, JDT Vietnam specializes in film production and laminate processing. The establishment of this factory in Vietnam was based on a well-considered location strategy. As the garment industry shifts its production sites to ASEAN countries, we believe that diversifying our production sites to diversify risks and meet the diverse needs of our customers is essential to further expansion of our business, especially from the perspective of geopolitical risks.

Collaboration with JDT China - “Fusion”

High-quality manufacturing that was cultivated at JDT China where Japanese technology and know-how were introduced has been thoroughly transferred to JDT Vietnam. By dispatching engineers from parent company JDT China and providing know-how, JDT Vietnam has realized laminate-bonding processing and now provides high-performance fabrics for a wide range of applications including outdoor wear, sportswear and casual wear. Collaboration with JDT China has improved production capabilities, resulting in products of high quality and functionality that are highly valued by its growing customer base.

In order to deepen the relationship of trust with customers and further expand its business, JDT Vietnam considers not only product quality but also delivery with short lead times as an important mission. Due to its abundant labor force and cost advantages, Vietnam’s garment industry is thriving and among ASEAN countries it stands out as one with the highest concentration of garment factories. Thanks to these location characteristics, the factory has geographical advantages due to its proximity to suppliers and related companies, and makes delivery to its main customers in Europe and the United States extremely convenient, allowing JDT Vietnam to reduce logistics costs and time.

Protecting the Environment and Safety and Creating a Vision for a Sustainable Future

For JDT Vietnam, which uses chemicals in its production, strict environmental measures are a fundamental responsibility. JDT Vietnam also adheres to strict environmental standards through measures such as the installation of an on-site water treatment facility and a volatile organic compound (VOC) dispose facility. In addition, the factory is equipped with solar panels and the boiler fuel is converted from heavy oil to gas, and efforts are being made on a daily basis to reduce CO2 emissions. JDT Vietnam also provides occupational safety training and health checkups for its employees to ensure a healthy and safe working environment, thus realizing a sustainable factory.
