As the production base shifts from China-centric to ASEAN countries, BAC GIANG MATSUOKA CO., LTD (the Bac Giang Factory) has become a key production base for handling high-mix, low-volume production. Strategically located with excellent access to air and sea transportation, the factory offers superior logistical convenience. Originally established in 2008 as VINA BIRZ CO., LTD, the Bac Giang Factory integrated Matsuoka’s management systems expertise post-M&A. Since becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Matsuoka in 2017, the factory has significantly enhanced its quality and management standards. Today, the factory handles premium high-end brands and continues to evolve as a “key production base for high-value-added products.”

By introducing Matsuoka manufacturing standards, the factory has progressively improved its quality levels, continuously making improvements throughout the entire production site while earnestly incorporating customer feedback. The quality and flexibility to handle a diverse range of designs and specifications that the Bac Giang Factory possesses today have been nurtured through their daily efforts to take on challenges and learn.

In recent years, the factory has introduced pleating processes, establishing a comprehensive system that covers cutting, sewing, processing, and shipping. The Factory’s strength lies in its ability to provide optimal quality through in-house integrated production, combining both machine pleating for uniform finishes and hand pleating for high-value-added products.

In terms of quality control, we maintain a system that supports quality across the entire Group. This involves not only on-site inspections and a team-based approach to identifying and resolving issues but also close collaboration with the Head Office and Tokyo Office. Taking advantage of the proximity unique to a small-scale factory allows for easy communication among local staff and Japanese staff. This openness enhances our operational agility on the factory floor.
